Yvonne Maria Schaefer is an actress and producer based in Frankfurt, Germany and New York, NY. Early on she began her career as a model and actress in Germany. In the 1990's meanwhile studying at the Goethe University in Frankfurt/Germany, Yvonne focused more intently on her acting career, studied drama and worked internationally in numerous Films, TV Series and plays. She sang background vocals for various bands including Joe Cocker) and Vanessa Mae. Because of her passion and participation in extreme sports, the Maxim Lifestyle Magazine voted Yvonne Maria Schaefer as the "Action Girl". After living part time in Asia and Spain, Yvonne moved to Manhattan, NY and there she founded in 2008 the film production company YMC Films New York. In 2012 she founded a branch, the YMC Entertainment GmbH, in Frankfurt Germany. Yvonne consults many international film productions and is executive advisor for various other companies including Mercaptor Discoveries Pharmaceuticals, where she was Chairman of the Executive Advisory Board.She worked in films such as, Forget Me Not (2009) opposite Peter Greene , (Pulp Fiction (1994), (The Bounty Hunter (2010) , The Mask (1994) . This film premiered in 2013, at the Albuquerque Film and Media Experience, supported by Robert Redford .She worked with Mel Gorham (Carlito's Way (1993), Smoke (1995) in the film APT.5K. Yvonne is the co-producer and one of the stars for the theatrically released psychological thriller, The Child (2012) ,an adaptation of the bestselling novel by Sebastian Fitzek. The cast includes, Eric Roberts, The Dark Knight (2008), Sunny Mabrey and Ben Becker ,among others. In this film Yvonne Maria plays the role of Sophie Stern, Eric Roberts's characters ex-wife She also can be seen starring in the Texas film production Voodoo (2014) and in the film Mi Hijo (2015), directed by John Hoyt . known as Yvonne Schäfer....
