Zachary is an actor, best known for playing Alonzo in the Hulu short film Berros for Season 3 Episode 4 of Your Attention Please (2020) hosted by Craig Robinson.Zachary Garmers, although born in Wabasha, Minnesota, was raised in Long Island City, New York until age 15-when he moved upstate to Fishkill, New York, for high school. Throughout the duration of his middle school years in Long Island City however, he was captain of his debate team, which then would introduce him to the world of acting. The New York City Urban Debate League (NYCUDL) sent out an email asking for students to participate in being background actors for Sara Silverman's Hulu tv show, I Love You America (2017). After participating on the show, Zachary wouldn't do any additional background work until Fall of 2020 when he appeared on two episodes of Amazon Prime's Modern Love (2019).Zachary began his professional acting career in August of 2021. Since August of 21', Zachary had managed to book roles on Discovery ID's Evil Lives Here (2016) & Evil Lives Here: Shadows Of Death (2020), as well as Hulu's Your Attention Please (2020). He managed to book these roles within his first couple months of the industry, despite never being signed to an agency nor part of SAG-AFTRA. Zachary even managed to be featured on Zach Braff's indie film, A Good Person, acting alongside the likes of Celeste O'Connor, Morgan Freeman and Florence Pugh. Among the countless student productions he's been a part of, one of the most notable would be Wheat (2021) directed by Jonny Berkowitz at Rutgers University. The film went on to win the Los Angeles Film Awards and the Auber Film Festival.Currently residing in New York City for work and having family in Minnesota, Zachary regards himself as a "simple man". Stating that he has no desire for the materialistic things, but rather gravitates towards nature, fishing, camping, etc. Living a "simple" life in solitude, away from the noise of the world and surrounded by those dearest to him....
