About Shibani Kashyap
Shibani Kashyap, the renowned singer, composer and a performer generates ripples with her performances as she not only creates music but also decorates its interiors with strokes of authenticity and adds life to it. She has a unique style of her own and her energy level is always unbeatable.Some of her songs are very popular like "Sajna Aaa Bhi Ja" (Performer) movie Waisa Bhi Hota Hai Part II.
She was a member of the band Black Slade in Delhi. In 1996, the signature tune of A.I.R. F.M., a channel of the All India Radio was launched in Shibani's voice. She has composed advertisement jingles for Amul India and Subah Savere show on Doordarshan. She shot into national fame with her debut pop album Ho Gayi Hai Mohabbat (Performer?1998) for which she won the Channel V award. She was selected to represent India at the 1999 annual international music festival Azia Dauysy held in Kazakhstan.
In 2000, she released a Sufi album called Nagmagee.She has performed live shows around the world. She composed and sang her first film song 'Sajna Aa Bhi Jaa' for the Hindi film Waisa Bhi Hota Hai in 2003. She sung for the films Zinda (Performer 2006) and 1971 (Performer 2007).
Performances
Shibani has been performing in India and all over the world. She has performed at ?Shaam-e-Shibani? concert at Kuwait which was organized by Indian Cultural Society. Also, she has performed at the Miss India World Pageant held at New Delhi.
Shibani has also performed for the Sansui Television awards in Mumbai held at the Andheri sports complex, Mr. India Pageant, Sanjay Gupta's Shootout at Lokhandwala concert. Along with this, Shibani has also performed at the GLADRAGS Mega Model Hunt and Zoom Glam Awards held in Mumbai, LETS ROCKS show held in Dubai with Stars like Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Akashay Kumar and many more. Successfully completed 8 city tour for the prestigious McDowell's "LISTEN INDIA" with artists i.e. Strings, Rabbi, Bombay Vikings in 2006.
She is extremely enthusiastic about her live performance wherein she has collaborated with eminent sitar player NILADRI KUMAR and the great Taufiq Quershi. Such concerts are the musical treat as Shibani’s Guitar playing skills come to the forefront. She has also performed for Ritu Beri Spring Summer Collection in Delhi and Singapore for CII convention.
Shibani has been performing for the Navy Balls across the country. Shibani recently performed at the Ford Supermodel contest at the Turf Club Mumbai, and for the CCI she performed for a televised show for Zoom for the grand finale of Lets Design. She also performed for the alumini of IIT Delhi recently.
